Here in Bansko some locals call theGlazne River"Pirin River"
because it flows out of thePirin Mountainsand it's easier to memorize for tourists.
Therefore you may find some Hotels or Cafes named this way ....

Classic UAZ-452 with the City-Logo of Bansko
In Bulgaria and most other Balkan States you can find lots of old Soviet Cars which are still running.
TheUAZ-452is famous for its Offroad-Skills. It is almost like a Bus-Version of theLada Niva.

I live on the affordable side of the river.
here is a small village with some old houses and farms
and lots of cheap hotels and appartement-buildings for tourists.
The city center and the ski-town of Bansko are on the other side.
There are the "better" hotels and shops with the higher prices.
Tip: If you want to save money in Bansko,
first check out the affordable side ....
